WHO WE ARE
Lamesa Adoptable Pets (LAP) is a not for profit, foster based rescue based in Lamesa, TX. Our board is made up of 3 dedicated volunteer board members, and a network of fosters and volunteers that assist as needed.
WHAT WE DO
Our primary goal is to rescue from community kill shelters. We assist with local rescue and rehoming outside of the shelter as well. We host and participate in many community wide events in hopes to educate and assist our community, making it a better place for our furry friends.
OUR HISTORY
Lamesa Adoptable Pets began in 2019, as a Facebook page to assist with networking unclaimed dogs in our local kill shelter. In April of 2020, our page gained more traction, launching us into the world of foster based rescue. Since that day, we've rescued and rehomed over 600 dogs and cats, with the help of our community and rescue partners across the country.
